ZDLX Electronic Electric Three-way Regulating Valve

I. Introduction:

      The ZDLX electronic electric three-way regulating valve consists of 3610L/3810/PSL and other series of electronic electric actuators or intelligent integrated actuators, as well as single-seat regulating mechanisms. The electric actuator has a built-in servo system, so no additional servo amplifier is required. It can start operating as long as there is an input signal and power supply. The series of electronic electric regulating mechanisms have two modes: converging (ZDLQ) and diverging. In some applications, it can replace two two-way valves and one three-way pipe connection, thus being widely used. It is commonly used in two-phase regulation of heat exchangers and simple ratio regulation. It is suitable for working conditions where one fluid is split into two paths through a three-way valve, or where two fluids are merged into one fluid through a three-way valve. It is a product independently designed, developed and manufactured. It relies on the pressure and temperature of the medium flowing through the valve itself as energy to drive the valve to operate automatically, without the need for an external power supply or secondary instruments. This self-operated regulating valve uses the feedback signal from the valve outlet, transmitted to the actuator through a signal pipe, to drive the valve disc to change the opening of the valve, so as to achieve the purpose of regulating pressure, flow rate and temperature. This type of regulating valve is divided into two types: direct-acting and indirect-acting.

II. Classification and Structure:

1. The electronic electric three-way regulating valve has two valve cores and valve seats, with a structure similar to that of a double-seat valve. However, in the electric three-way regulating valve, when the flow area between one valve core and its valve seat increases, the flow area between the other valve core and its valve seat decreases. In a double-seat valve, the flow areas between both valve cores and their valve seats increase or decrease simultaneously.
2. The air-to-open and air-to-close functions of the three-way regulating valve can only be realized by selecting the forward and reverse actions of the actuator. For a double-seat valve, the change between air-to-open and air-to-close can be achieved directly by reversing the valve body or the valve core and valve seat.
3. When the three-way regulating valve is used in a control system that requires fluid ratio regulation, since it replaces one air-to-open control valve and one air-to-close control valve, it can reduce costs and save installation space.
4. The three-way regulating valve is also used in bypass control occasions. For example, one path of fluid exchanges heat through a heat exchanger, while the other path does not. When the electric three-way regulating valve is installed in front of the heat exchanger, a diverging three-way regulating valve is used; when the three-way regulating valve is installed behind the heat exchanger, a converging electric three-way regulating valve is used.

III. Function:
     The regulating valve is used to adjust the flow rate, pressure and liquid level of the medium. Based on the signal from the regulated part, it automatically controls the opening of the valve, thereby adjusting the flow rate, pressure and liquid level of the medium. The regulating valve consists of two parts: an electric actuator or a pneumatic actuator, and the regulating valve body. Regulating valves are usually divided into two types: straight-through single-seat and straight-through double-seat. The latter has the characteristics of large flow capacity, small unbalanced force and stable operation, so it is particularly suitable for occasions with large flow rates, high pressure drops and low leakage. The valve is a control component in the fluid conveying system, with functions such as shut-off, regulation, flow diversion, backflow prevention, pressure stabilization, flow splitting or overflow pressure relief.
